Churchwarden Malcolm Britton gives talks about Brooksby’s links with World War I, the famous individuals who have resided at Brooksby Hall and their descendents and the significant changes from Roman to modern times, including the medieval village and its desertion in the 15th century.
Enquiries are welcome from local history societies, Womens’ Institutes, Rotary Clubs, church groups and other organisations within Leicestershire, Rutland and the City of Leicester.
Summer evening visits can also be arranged.
