Bishop Martyn Visits Hall Farm

The ewes at Hall Farm obliged today for the annual Brooksby Lambing Service. After the service at which Sue Smith read the story of the Good Shepherd, The Revd James Skinner, Superintendent Methodist Minister led the prayers and the Bishop of Leicester, Bishop Martyn Snow gave the address, the congregation were able to see the many new-born lambs and witness  ewes giving birth during the morning. We are grateful to Nick Marriott, Bridget Hollis, Claire Ibbotson and Andrew Walker of the College staff for all their assistance, to our churchwarden, Jeanne Knowles, for providing the refreshments and John Norburn for providing the music. A collection in aid of emergency drought relief in our link diocese of Kiteto in Tanzania raised £185.
